  Happy New Year.  Here is Low pretending to be Joy Division which is I don’t even know what 

  Yes. This is exactly how I feel right now. When Ian Curtis sang “Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance to the radio” he was pleading for a feeling of connection and communal spirit in an alienating world. When Low sings the same lyrics, it’s with a sneer that seems to mean that the whole concept of communal experience is ridiculous and impossible. New Year’s Eve makes me feel more like Low’s version.
